We lost Iraqi Aikidoka

Dear friends...

During all battles and fights and bombings which happening in Iraq by American army and Iraqi militias, we lost and losing out every day tens of Iraqi people.

But now for the first time we lost Iraqi Aikidoka. He's our old friend (Mohammad Ethar Sirri).
Mohammad was the first student under Atif Amin Sensei in Baghdad at 1991, he became instructor and in charge after Atif Sensei at 1994 until 1999.
He's killed last month.

Praying for him...

Wissam Faraj

Re: We lost Iraqi Aikidoka

In times like these not much can or should be said.
I only wish that all non-Iraqi soldiers leave your country. The sooner this happens, the sooner you will sort out how to rebuilt your beautyful country and exit the present chaotic madness. After all, oil does have a price but the human life is priceless.
My warmest thoughts to all who suffer...

Condolences from Israel

On behalf of the Israeli Aikido Association I wish to convey our honest condolences.
I heard about this tragedy from Don Levin Sensei while he conducted a class here in a local Salaam Shalom Peace Aikido seminar. He informed us the terible news while he had tears in his eyes.
Please be strong. I hope that in the near future we will train together.

Yours,
Ze'ev Erlich
ISRAEL.
