There are a number of various Ki Aikido associations in the UK. I am member of the Ki Federation of Great Britain. It has a large number of dojos. The Technical Director is Sensei Kenneth Williams who has practiced and taught Aikido for over 50 years. The Federation is now independent from the Ki No Kenkyukai. Best to contact our headquarters for further details. The website can be found here. http://www.kifederationofgreatbritain.co.uk/

Best of luck

Graham

Re: KI aikido in the UK

Alternatively you may wish to consider Aikido Yuishinkai UK (thats who I practice with)

www.aikidoyuishinkai.co.uk

Aikido Yuishinkai is the organisation headed by Koretoshi Maruyama Sensei (formerly the chief in structor of the ki no kenkiyukai under Koichi Tohei Sensei).

Other Ki Aikido organisations in the UK are:

The Ki Federation of GB (under Ken Williams Sensei)
http://www.kifederationofgreatbritain.co.uk/

The Ki Society (under Koichi Tohei Sensei)
http://www.kisociety.org.uk/

KI No Kenkyukai Association International (under Yoshigazaki Sensei)
http://www.ki-society.org.uk/index/index.shtml

Kolesnikov mind and body development (under Wasyl Kolesnikov Sensei)
http://www.swindon-ksmbda.org.uk/

Hope this helps

Mike

Hi Lee,

My Sensei was taught by Kenneth Williams, who was one of the earliest students of Abbe Sensei.

Sensei Williams now oversees the Ki-Federation of Great Britain , as stated above.
