Pin after control

I have a question to someone who is experienced in mai/ai relationship in applying a particular technique:

Why after the control (first, second, third, there is no difference), a techniques is usually ended with a pin? In other words, why the technique is not ended with control?

I will appreciate your help with this question!

Hmmm, well my personal thought on this is that a pin is a control technique. You have probably noticed that each control technique (Ikkyo, Nikyo, etc.) usually ends with a different type of pin (just as some control techniques work better on certain Uke than others,the same can be said for pins). My belief is that each pin is the final application of the control technique. Have a good day!

Can you be a little more specific about what you're looking for here.
Are you suggesting that a pin is NOT a controlled way to end a technique?
Please help me understand what you're asking!

Pins are fun,
and I have found them quite easy to do, when using the momentum to aid me.
For example, take any Tenkan waza, then apply Sankyo at the end.
9 times out of ten uke will spin on his oshiri and fall into the pin nicely.
Hence the funny aspect. It can be quite comical to watch.
