Konnichiwa from Wyoming

I have been a student of the martial arts since 1981. I have studied Aikido under Jack Wada sensei in San Jose California for 1 year. I began training in Shotokan karate under Jim Mather Kyo-shi in 1993 and trained in his school in San Jose California for 6 years. I moved to Jackson Wyoming in 1999 where I have continued to train on my own for the past 4 years with my wife (3 years Shotokan experience, 4th kyu) and my son (7 years experience, junior Shodan).

I am interested in joining an Aikijujutsu school to expand my knowledge of the martial arts, especially in the area of throwing techniques and Kenjutsu. I have some weapons experience with Bo and Nunchuku.

I am looking for a 4 to 8 week intensive program during January and February of 2005. I can travel internationally if necessary and would prefer to find a dojo in Japan as I am also a student of Nihon-go. Nihon-go-Ga Scosi Wakarimasu.

Please let me know if there is a program that you think would be appropriate for someone with my training and desire.

Domo Arigato Gozaimasu,

Hi Scott,

Thank you for your introduction and welcome to the AikiWeb Forums! I can't say I can help you with your search for an aikijujutsu school since I am not very familiar with the art. Good luck!
