I just wanted to say a big hello to everyone, as I am new and I figured this would be a good place to start on the forums.

My name is Daniel, as you probably have gathered by my name. I've been doing aikido and Iaido for about 5 months now and I'm loving every minute of it.

I see you're at the Renshinkan on the other side of the world. Its the UKA affiliated one right?

Hi Daniel
Just thought I should let you know that Colin's main teachers were William Smith (Phillips Dad) and Gordan Jones. As to weather Phillip was teaching at the same time as Colin started out in Aikido I'm not sure.
may be Phillip or some of the others from the UK would like to clarify this for you.
