RIP Peter Gardiner of Iwama Dojo and Scotland

Posted 2020-07-30 10:50:31 by Steve Mallon

Just heard of Peter's passing at his apartment in Kuramae Tokyo. Condolences have been noted by some fellow students on his Facebook Page.

A committed student who settled in Japan in 1984 and kept up his practice until just a few years ago. His second wife Miwa was also an Aikidoka at Iwama

Re: RIP Peter Gardiner of Iwama Dojo and Scotland

Hello friends,
This is shocking news. Does anyone have any news on how he left us so suddenly? What caused him to pass away? I cannot find any information on this, which is strange enough. In these terrible times, I fear the worst. Any information would be of great comfort.
