Aikido Shihan Hiroshi Tada: The Day I Entered Ueshiba Dojo

New blog post - maybe the last one for a couple of weeks.

Aikido Shihan Hiroshi Tada: The Day I Entered Ueshiba Dojo - "Ueshiba Sensei of Aiki-jutsu is the greatest Budo master alive"

Enjoy!

nice read Chris, I like that you gave yourself an out on the couple of weeks of downtime with a "maybe"

Thanks, Jason - Takeshi Yamashima's coming into town this weekend, so I'm going to spend some time hanging out with him. Should be fun!

Best,

Chris

I first invited Yamashima down in 2004, and he's been coming back every year since. He'd been here before, but never to teach his own seminar, usually he'd just come down with Seijuro Masuda. I'd been training with him in Japan, so I encouraged him to come down after we moved back.

This year he's going to Kohala Aikikai on the Big Island.

Best,

Chris
