"Aikido Kid"

Posted 2009-02-24 15:11:56 by Jun Akiyama

This article entitled "Aikido Kid" introduces us to fourteen year-old Hanna Kolias in Oregon with cerebral palsy who started training in aikido with John Fox about a year ago.

From the article: "Her stamina has greatly improved and she is becoming stronger with each class. Aikido has helped build her self-confidence and self-esteem. I have noticed she is more disciplined with homework and chores. Hanna is even more respectful towards me -- her mother -- than she was a few months ago," says Sandi Kolias.
