News of aikijo origins?

Hi....
I read some weeks ago in Aikido Journal homepage (http://www.aikidojournal.com/?id=4110) about the origins of aikijo and I looked for more information but could not find.

Do you know if any progress were made in discovering any school of jodo or whatever which clearly relates to the Founder's jo method?

Thank you.

Re: News of aikijo origins?

One of Ellis Amdur's blog entries over on AJ dealt with staff origins, might be the one you're thinking if. Even if it isn't, it's an excellent read.

...especially the last section of the article, which addresses Aiki-jo.
