Smile Re: How long does it take to understand Aikido? How long to use it effectively?

Hi,just started last week in my first class,totally in love with Aikido at 57,it's going to be a long road but a rewarding one.!

Welcome. My standard advice to all practitioners is this: "Be gentle with yourself".

All paths lead to death. I strongly recommend taking one of the scenic routes.
