greetings. I've just started practicing aikido and thought it'd be cool to talk to other aikidoka around th e world, and I'm sure I'll learn a lot on this forum. I look forward to talking to everybody.

Re: from Va. Beach
Hi Tony,
Welcome! Any time you're up by Richmond, come on down and visit us at Aikido in the Fan. We've got one or two other folks from VA Beach training there too.
Cheers,
Jim

Welcome Tony from the other side of the world!
Actually I'm only 3 miles away, but if you go the wrong direction, you'd circumnavigate the globe to get to us!

Re: from Va. Beach
thanks everybody for the warm welcome! I am indeed seeing that this is a great place to discuss aikido, though I haven't made any posts because I'd like to know a little more about everything before trying to have an intelligent discussion with somebody. Any suggestions on good books for beginners? (I'm an avid reader, so many suggestions are appreciated).
