Quotes that inform your training...
I'll go first?
"When the mind gives up, the body stands up. When the body gives up, the body falls down." - unknown source
This one, I need to reintegrate in my training, I've become a wuss.
"Aikido works, your aikido doesn't work" - Hiroshi Ikeda
My aikido is starting to almost begin to maybe start to work soon, and that shit is fun.
And my favorite bit of pure wisdom...
"Practice is like farting—only you can do it yourself; no one else can do it for you." -Sawaki Koudou
And, really, let's be honest. Why would I want to give anyone else the profound pleasure?

I like that one, but I have to admit I have always admired the sentiment behind your signature quote. Is there a story behind that? Cannoli is good.

Re: Quotes that inform your training...
The line is taken from "The Godfather". A target for murder is driving his killers and they stop for cannoli. After one kills him, the other utters that line. A very matter-of-fact take care of business mindset. Absent a brutal murder, that focus would prove valuable in most endeavors. And yes, a good cannoli is a thing of joy!

I find it interesting that the kanji character for kuzushi illustrates a mountain falling on a house.
