Changes in Spokane, WA dojos

Posted 2006-08-23 16:05:02 by Susan Ridley
News URL: http://www.aikidospokane.com

Three years ago two instructors got together to form a new dojo. They called it "Spokane Aikido." This name had been used before by Larry Bowman, the junior instructor, at another address. This co-operative arrangement has been dissolved and he has gone back to teaching at that address. His dojo is once again called "Spokane Aikido." Gene Nelson, the senior instructor, continues to teach at the dojo they shared, which is now called "Aikido Bushin." We apologize for any confusion these changes may cause, and we hope that you will come and train with us, at either or both dojos if you get a chance.

Confusing indeed. Thanks for the update. I still reflect fondly on my training with Nelson-sensei. A valuable resource in the Inland Empire.
