In most european countries that I know of (Germany, France, etc.) MA is defined as sport from the Gov. regulating bodies.

If you want to find the aikido books in a Japanese library or bookstore, you have to go to the sports section.

Hey all,

For anyone who want's to get the gist of the story:
The sensei is 61 years old, has done 25 years of judo, got his 5th dan and started aikido, he had not expected it to be more intense than judo Loosely interpreted he finds the zanshin very 'heavy', besides that he says that in a situation one has a choice to damage, but that's not the purpose of the art, for the rest it's a general story on aikido. (wow, that was quite clinical, my translation does the art no justice...)
