Well after almost 1 year away I finally took my own and everyone else's advice and returned to Aikido!
Walking in there was amazing. The smell of the dojo just made my whole body tingle,I knew I had done the right thing.
Everyone greeted me with open arms and jolly"welcome back's" everywhere!
The warm up was a little hard on my now not so limber limbs and actually I had forgotten how tough the warm-ups can be,but non the less good!
We started with the usual tuning techniques that built up to an entering throw (I think Irimi nage but my vocab is gone!!).
Wonderful feeling.
Every one was happy and now the day after I am sore, stiff and happy to be an Aikidoka once again.
