Hey All,

Seems i am popular, cool.

Well I woke up on Saturday feeling fine and dandy.
I had my usual wake up shower and breakfast and coffee and got my gear ready and set off to Aikido. The sun shone in my face and life was good on Saturday morning.
I climbed the four huge flights of stairs and saw the Aikido Amsterdam sign on the wall and to my disbelief the Dojo was open at 11:10am.
I was shocked and entered with a bow, turned and saw to my horror "Angry Hakama guy".

Fear and pain ran through my mind as he turned and looked at me and said "HI".
I smiled and the only thing i could reply way "Oh ohh".

I got changed in silence.
Rene arrived shortly after and gave me the look of "Ohh shi* we are Fu**".
He also got changed in silence.

We sat at the side of the mat and watched angry hakama guy do his sword techniques and dominate the mat totally.
his presence was immense as it always is when he is there. He dazzled us with precise sword play and all the time i thought of "Lone wolf and Cub".

We started the lesson and he shuffled us around by rank etc...

As usual we did the warm up and rolls.

Then he threw us straight into a Nikajo attack and lock which ended in a Kiai.

Rene and i did this together.
Then onto another Nikajo, where we both realised that he was not so angry nor so mean as last time and somehow disturbingly Human.

In the middle of the class we where joined by a Japanese guy, where our class turned sorely racist and started mockingly doing Japanese words "Ahh so" and the such which I was very upset and Ashamed about.

Through the lesson my wrists became more and more sore, yet i was having fun in an Angry Hakama Guys lesson, yet i carried on none the les.

All in all despite that it was a very, very god lesson and i enjoyed it very much.

We learned that two people from this class would be going for Black belt one who i know will pass and the other i hope not as he is not good at Aikido and uses too much muscle.
I say that if he does pass then Rene and i will also go for it as we are at the same level!

On a more personal not My father is doing ok with the chemo at present.

Thank you all for reading my Journals as i try to have a little humour yet also add a more personal touch to them and also add in Dojo politics and the such.
