The crane moved
As cranes are wont to move
Slowly, elegantly, precisely
Each step taken with consideration
A delicate grace... Fujin, the wind god
Brushing the reeds around her
Catching, lifting her wings
Forming a glittering cape
Her quick eye catches me looking
And she stops -- poised
Ready with her tengu wisdom

But, the moment passes
And, once again, she is just a crane
Probing, probing what lies
Just below the surface
As I, inelegantly, also try to do
