As Don Juan said: All paths are the same -
they lead nowhere
If this is true, then
Why travel any Path at all?
Why take on all the
Pain and suffering
Each path may ask of you?
Perhaps it's the landscape
Along the way: beautiful
And breathless, enthralling
Though, at times bitter hard
Is this enough?
Is this enough to get
Past all the hardship
All the despair?
This, I keep asking myself
As I sometimes fly
Sometimes crawl along
A hard-scrabble ground
And see my loved ones perish
Sometimes hearing my heart break
As I move along my chosen path
And I ask: Is this enough?
