Does Aikido have any Gokui, secret principles?
Principles beyond the obvious
Beyond that which is
Usually taught in most
Traditional Aikido dojos?
Such as harmonizing, blending,
Re-directing force by entering,
Leading, and turning ukes' movements
Into an outcome that both
Nage and uke can live with
All this is understood by everyone
From kyu ranks to dan ranks
In various degrees...
Still, is there something more?
How about "aiki"?
This is sometimes heralded
As a "secret hidden in plain sight"
Anything else?
Something that high-level practitioners
Can apply in dire situations?
Or, is Aikido, simply Aikido?
