Seminar Aikido west, great day, learned a new way of doing Kote Gaieshi and an attack and technique based on a double lapel grab. Worked with Jan and Frank from Mountain wind! I like working with both of them a lot. There was a lot to learn in the Seminar. I think that I may have figured out where some of my wall in Aikido is coming in, and how to start processing through it. Stress related to getting it right, and fear of getting it wrong. Feeling that I am going to be letting the others around me down if I don't get it right, and feeling stress from some other areas in my life that I have FEAR in. I need to learn to see the signs of this fear before it takes over like it seems to have been doing lately. Learning to stay in the moment and in the flow of the momement and the energy is the only way to really be in control. I seem to have forgotten this. Today there was something in working with strange people and hearing some of the words that Sensei was saying in a strange environment that really drove the point home. It was great, felt like a large rock had been lifted off of my shoulders, and that there was something that was working in Guy's Aikido again.
