Pros: high quality fine grain jo - the best I\'ve ever purchased in the UK. Fantastic for the price
Cons: Some people may prefer a thicker version

The grain runs perfectly down the length of the jo and is very fine. Excellent for heavy contact - I would guess that they would last at least 4 years with heavy contact.

The white oak jo (we bought 20) are much better than many of the hickory products you can buy from other suppliers. Indeed it smashed a lump off a Bear Wood hickory bokken (the grain on this bokken being much less fine)

The packs of 10 are the same quality - excellent investment for a club. After many years of breaking weapons (even hickory ones) I shall always buy my weapons from nine circles. The craftsmanship is superb and the price is a bargain.

Pros: Good price
Cons: none come to mind

Nine circles sells two lengths 50" and 53" and two thicknesses 2.4 cm and 2.7 cm. We purchased some 53" in both thicknesses and I can really recommend the thicker ones, which is are just over 1" thick. This is a good jo for larger students.
