Hello from New Hampshire

Hello everyone --

I've been lurking around here for a little while now, and I thought I'd finally sign up and say hello. I'm brand new to Aikido -- only started 6 months ago, but I have absolutely fallen in love with it.
I'm very lucky to be training at Woburn Aikikai, a new dojo in Massachusetts... eventually more people will discover how great our instructor is, but for the moment we don't have many students and I'm blessed with lots of individual attention (though when he's spending lots of time using me to demonstrate yonkyo I don't feel all that blessed, I suppose)
Anyone who's in the Boston area is welcome to come by and visit us

When I'm not doing Aikido, I'm working (mechanical engineer), doing one of my various crafty things (mostly sewing and knitting), reading, or serving my kitty masters. Thankfully, my husband has now taken up Aikido also, or I would never see him at all.

Hi Tracy,

over here in Portland I started about the same time you did, also in love with aikido, and now the whole family's doing it. Maybe you can come over and train with us one day? www.aikidoofmaine.com

welcome ;-)
