At the Jikishinkan dojo in Utrecht. www.jikishinkan.org -the website is in Dutch but I'm guessing that you can understand written Dutch somewhat...
So - how does being an AT teacher influence your aikido practice?

Well I was doing aikido first. But overall I think that the quality of contact with another human is much the same, and thereby the 2 kinds of work is inspiring each other.
So often I see myself teaching an aspect at the aikido class, that came to my mind in an Alexander lesson, and also the other way around.
As an AT teacher, you have to touch the pupil with a non-doing mind and _hand_ - moving the pupil without manipulation, intention, without having a fixed idea where we should end. And I like to do Aikido the same way, this is what I think is in the words "takemusu aikido"
best regards
Michael
