I highly recommend Pikes Peak Aikikai.

Great group of people. I've been visiting that dojo for some 10 years when I'm back there on business.

I hope this isn't too late! I'm not sure how long you intend to stay but you're more than welcome to stop up in Castle Rock 25-35 minutes north on I-25. We will be practicing on Friday night at 8:15pm and again on Sunday at 2:00pm!

PM me if you need more info

There's a slight chance you'd be able to train with the cadets at the Air Force Academy. I believe they still have a USAF dojo there.

Never trained Akido with them, but the fencing teams are VERY tough. Fun bunch of guys too.

Play nice, practice hard, but remember, this is a MARTIAL art!
