New - hello

Hi all,

Just thought I'd introduce myself to you politely and say thanks in advance.

I practice in the Midlands UK, (Birankai)- and have been training for a mere 6 months (only 1 session per week on average so an extreme novice. However I have just attended my first summer school seminar for the day after getting a little courage from reading and lurking on these forums so thanks!

It was both scary and cool at the same time, I did the first 3 classes and watched the last 2 afternoon ones. I do have some wicked bruises today too. Worth it to see all the action and meet lots of people. Got to train with lots of kyu and dan grades and all were great and helpful.
