Yoshinkan in DC Metro Area

Hello,

New to the forum and new to the DC Metro area. Anybody know of a Yoshinkan Aikido dojo in the vicinity?

Thanks in advance?

Thanks,

- M

Phila. Doshinkan Aikido is the closest one I know of.

www.doshinkan-aikido.org.

There should be a list of branch dojo there. I believe there is one in one the Carolinas...

I'm sure you would be quite welcome to come up and train in Phila. if it's not to far for you.

Best,
Ron

Hi and welcome to the area. We are not Yoshinkan, but if you'd like, come by and check us out in Arlington, VA off the Balston Metro. We are ASU affiliated, with good instructors and a wide range of "aikido" style and martial experience in the dojo.

Re: Yoshinkan in DC Metro Area

There is no Yoshinkan in the area. There is mainly ASU, Kokikai, Aikikai, Iwama, Ki, and few other independents that I have run across their students. Again, welcome to the area! If you are ever close by Potomac Mills Mall on the weekend then stop by our dojo, although we practice at the crack of dawn. We are the only dojo in Prince William County, Va. www.dalecityaikikai.org
