Help

Hi everyone. I'm not sure where this thread would go, but I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to upload a pic to my aikiblog. I select the insert image but it asks for a url. Does anyone know how I could do it? Thanks in advance.

Hello SRB,

You may have to first upload your image to an 'image hosting' site like imageshack which could involve a very short registration process.

Once you have that done, upload your image to that host, then copy the 'link' information of the image to the post you wish to make or as part of your profile.

If you continue to have any difficulties in figuring this out just reply in this thread and we will do what we can to assist.

Hi Shane - for a blog you can't upload a picture from your hard drive. So you need the URL. If you don't have one you can start an account with flickr.com or a similar photo-sharing site.

In flickr from the photo you go to Actions and View all sizes and right click to get the URL in Google Chrome or click on properties to get the URL in Internet Explorer,

For other people's photos I get permission in advance or use a creative commons licenced photo and let the photographer know.
