Repairing Zebra Mats?

Does anyone have a good method/recommended supplies for repairing gashes in zebra mats?

Strongly prefer to hear from those who have actually done this, whether it was successful or not, or from those who know of materials/methods by which it can supposedly be done, in preference for those who wish to offer criticism of those who find themselves in the position of having to ask the question...

Re: Repairing Zebra Mats?

Mary, I've used vinyl glue successfully for similar mats - no specific experience with Zebra brand. The glue was readily available in most hardware stores and intended for inflated pools. Force the slash open and coat all the internal surfaces with the glue using a Q-tip, wipe away any excess and use masking tape to "butterfly" the cut tight. That should do it for you.

Thanks, Michael! I'll pass that on to my sensei.
