I wait all year for this seminar. The Aikido instruction is stellar, the hospitality fantastic, the dojo is gorgeous and the food is amazing.

Re: O'Sensei Memorial and Aikido Delaware Aikikai Anniversary 4/22

Returning after a thrilling day of Aikido and philosophy I am happy to say that the Okimura Shihan Seminar was everything that I imagined. It is an event not to be missed. My only regret is that I didn't realize until afterward that I was being asked to demonstrate a technique as a surrogate for my Sensei. I thought they just wanted me to pose in an archival photo representing the dojos that had attended. There's always next year.
