Hmm, Aikido in Commando mode.... interesting concept.
Does give a new meaning to the term "ki extension", especially for bear hug syle Ushiro attacks.
I knew there was a reason we were letting the girls train .

If anyone else but Jun had asked this question they would have been banned immediately.
You must try underarmor boxer/briefs by the way, very silky smooth for no abrasion, they breath well and have good support.

TRUE STORY: I went to a seminar in California three years ago, Saito Sensei was supposed to be there but canceled after 9/11. Anyway, there was a lady from Australia, and as far as I could tell she was wearing nothing under her hakama. How do I know? I worked with her several times. Her Gi top was a little short so there was plenty of skin in the gaps of her hakama when she took ukemi. Definitely no pants to speak of. She may have worn a thong, but did I mention there was a lot of skin showing off her hips? Which brings us to the next series of questions...
Is it women most likely not to wear underwear, or just Australian's?

Of course not. We war neither underwear or gi pants in the dojo. How else could we keep you big strong men off-balance?

I suppose Jun's next poll will be, "Do you ever experience ‘tent problems' with your hakama?".

We should start an Aikido Commando Club.
For the sake of this post I will go commando this week at practice and post my experience on Friday!
Wish me luck.

Wish I could say "yes," but I'm not a hormone-addled adolescent anymore...my main problem now is gas.
