Ken Nisson Sensei at Bond Street Dojo, August 13-15, 2010

Ken Nisson Sensei, 6th dan, will be teaching a weekend seminar at Bond Street Dojo on August 13-15, 2010.

Currently Chief Instructor of Aikido of Modesto, Nisson Sensei began Aikido training with Koichi Tohei Sensei at New York Aikikai in 1964, and went on to co-found Bond Street Dojo and Vermont Aikido with Terry Dobson in 1973. An accomplished painter, Nisson Sensei's unique combination of fluidity and power has earned him the affectionate nickname "The Velvet Hammer."

Nisson Sensei will also teach a special class at NJIT Budokai on Thursday August 12th, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
