Greetings Everyone!

There has been a need for clarification concerning the rearranging of the former AANC, which has been disbanded. Division 1 of the CAA, which was part of the AANC, includes about 27 dojos. These dojo-cho have a direct lineage to Saito Morihiro Shihan of Iwama, Japan. A great majority of the instructors have been uchideshi numerous times and for long stays at the Iwama dojo and have a very close relationship to both Saito Sensei and Hitohiro Sensei.

The CAA has the great fortune to include three divisions led by Frank Doran, Bob Nadeau, and Pat Hendricks. We are proud of the mutual respect we share for each other.

We are also blessed that the former AANC has produced two wonderful groups (the CAA Division 1 and the TAA), dedicated to the preservation of O'Sensei's Aikido as taught by Saito Sensei.
-- Pat Hendricks, Division 1, CAA
