Aiki Connections 2015 - Daito Ryu with Howard Popkin Sensei (27/28 June)

Posted on behalf of Phil Eyers:

Course date : Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th June 2015

We are pleased to announce that Howard Popkin Sensei returns to Genryukan dojo in June 2015. Those who attended Howard's first UK seminar here in May 2014 will agree it was a fantastic weekend, with all participants enjoying Howard's great humour and sublime skills.

Howard Popkin Sensei, long time student of Okamoto Seigo, the founder of Roppokai Daitō-ryū and a student of Horikawa Kodo Sensei (longest serving student of Daitō-ryū Aiki-jūjutsu founder Takeda Sōkaku).

Howard is a teacher of rare quality, profound, light-touch kuzushi, extensive technical knowledge and fine humour. His lessons and technical insights into the practice of aiki are true treasures for any serious student of aikido, judo and many other arts.

The course fee is £100 and it will be a very full weekend - to register or for more information please email Phil Eyers

Location will be at Genryukan Dojo, Clarendon & Westbury Community Centre, Belgrave Road, Dover, Kent CT17 9RA. - Easy access by car via the M20, Via train to Dover Priory Station. The Dojo is within walking distance (less than 10 mins from station). There is parking on site.

Payments via paypal in advance, just contact Phil Eyers via email at phil@genryukan.co.uk or on 07445 453182

We are limiting the event to only 25 participants.
