Tongue The Aiki Horror Dojo Show

RiffRaff:
It's astounding;
Knees are aching;
Seiza takes its toll.
But sit patiently

Magenta:
Please, not for very much longer!

RiffRaff:
I've got to keep control.
I remember doing my 6th kyu
Drinking those moments when
The tatami would hit me

Magenta:
And the void would be calling...

Transylvanians:
Let's do Aikido again
Let's do Aikido again.

Narrator:
Tsugi-ashi to the left.

All:
And then a tenkan to the right.

Narrator:
With your hands opened up

All:
You bring your partner in tight.
But it's the pelvic thrust
That really puts him in pai-ai-ai-ai-ai-ain
Let's do Aikido again.
Let's do Aikido again.

Magenta:
It's so flowing it's misty, and yet it's not twisty
So you can't resist me, no, not at all.
In another dimension, with harmonious intention,
Not secluded, I throw all.

RiffRaff:
With a bit of ukemi

Magenta:
You're on the tatami

RiffRaff:
And budo will never be the same.

Magenta:
You're spaced out on sensation.

RiffRaff:
Like you're under sedation.

All:
Let's do Aikido again.
Let's do Aikido again.

Columbia:
Well I was walking down the street just a-having a think
When a snake of a guy gave me an evil wink.
I shook-a him up, I took him by surprise.
He got a broken back, and tears in his eyes.
He stared at me and he felt a change.
His body did nothing, never would again.

All:
Let's do Aikido again.
Let's do Aikido again.

Narrator:
Tsugi-ashi to the left.

All:
And then a tenkan to the right.

Narrator:
With your hands opened up

All:
You bring your partner in tight.
But it's the pelvic thrust
That really puts him in pai-ai-ai-ai-ai-ain
Let's do Aikido again.
Let's do Aikido again.

Well, being a kyu-grade male, I've never worn a hakama (folded them, lol, but never worn one) So I can't really answer that. A corset, on the other hand... ahem Actually, haven't worn one of them either (honestly) That said, would a corset not help you to keep your posture?

Yes, I realise this is the humour board and you were joking... but still, such issues need to be addressed!

Anyway, all the Yudansha swish around in frocks (as I've heard a few sensei put it), so hey

It's a kind of magic

I'm not sure what to think about this, other than someone has a lot of free time.

Now I have that song stuck in my head.

no i wasn't. i wear a corset regularly for costume & performance work. yes, they do marvelous things for your posture, but try to bend at the waist! If i bend at the hips i can put my hands flat on the ground, but we roll from the waist, it would be impossible!

Jo, wrt corsets... hmm, I'll give it a try if ever I get the opportunity

Brehan... lol, someone in our dojo had a thick rounded tanto, and a newcomer said "I don't even want to know what that's used for..."
