New to the Forums...

Hello Everyone!

Newbe here in Mitaka, Tokyo. I just started training about 4 months ago. I passed my 1st test just 2 weeks ago.

I really like the Aikido system so far. My Sensei is a very patient guy. My classes and everyone that I have met so far have been wonderful. No competition...everyone wants to help each other do their best. The blackbelts are always willing to help me correct my form. (And put a little hurt on me to make sure I remember.)

I look forward to getting to know everyone.

Dean

They only do that because they care

I keep meaning to visit Mitaka to see the Ghibli Museum, but it seems like there's always too much else we have to do when we're visiting Japan...

That's one of the best things about aikido, in my book! Welcome to the family!

I am not an expert
