Bokuto or Shinai?
You can go to kneeland street. to The silky way. Left off the pike to Kneeland st (China town, south station), the store is on the -right hand side after the second right hand turn. You can take that right hand turn to park, right there. Then get right back on the pike. two minutes either way.
Of course I have a few extra here in central mass. But then you'd have to train with a us for a night! Heck I'll even put on a gi and do ki.

Bokuto -- thanks, Dan, I didn't know Silky Way had this stuff (I always head for the book section). I'll give them a try. Thanks!

Re: $@#^%@& broke my tsuba!
No problem.
The book section!!!! Ouch, I leave with moths coming out of my wallet. Last time I was there just this winter I picked up yet another book in the old series of the TSKSR Deity and the Sword for 35 bucks (I now have spares of them. They sell on the internet for 500 -700 dollars for the set of three, before the new, better version from Otake sensei published by Diane Skoss at Koryu books came out.
When you get to the top of the stairs loop around 180 deg and go to the wall. There are more weapons straight ahead on the left of the stairs if you go straight. If you hit a dead end let me know by P.M. Also if you ever want to do some shared ki training, or some DR. Let me know. Don't listen to the scuttlebut on the net. I'm a sweety.

Have you considered a black golf tube as a quick replacement? We suggest those to our beginning iaido students. Not the prettiest thing, but it works and is not expensive.

Tsuba, not saya.
