Heya

Hey all, nice to meet you. I'm new here, just sort of stumbled upon it while researching Aikido. It's an interesting, and beautiful looking art...but not a style for me. Nothing against it, but I'm more of a striker and don't feel I have the patience for an art like Aikido...but I still have respect for it and the people that study it. I've known of it for a while (as far as I'm concerned, one of the most popular Japanese styles...or so it seems) though.

Lately I've been working on a game as a project for the school I'm attending. It's a fighter and one of the characters is an Aikidoka (spelling?). There's some things I've not been able to find, or find very little in some cases, during my research on this style. I was hoping, if people are willing and it's not a bother, some of you could lend a hand so I can try and portray the style a bit more accurately than what would likely happen if I went in blind.

Also, if anyone's up for it, I'd like to start up a rp (think of it more like a group story, with each of us contributing a bit for fun) based in the my game world as well. Was curious how many may be interested.
