Site Downtime

Hi folks,

Just a quick heads-up that site will be down for a bit in just a short while. I need to update the operating system...

Phew... That was somewhat painful. The upgrade didn't quite go as well as planned so the downtime was longer than I expected. There are still a few things I'm going to need to tweak, so the site may be down periodically, but (if all goes well) not for longer than a few minutes at a time!

Sorry for any inconvenience the downtime today may have caused...

I think it's disgusting that in this day and age of enlightened selfishness a man of Jun's character has the effrontery to provide a well crafted web site purely for altruistic reasons, sacrificing his own time and money for others. Not only that, but he then has the sheer unmitigated gall to apologise for taking time out to improve the site.

YEAH! When I read Jun's apology it reminded me (however obliquely) of something comedian Mitch Headner (sp?) said. "When an escalator is out of order it just becomes stairs. They should hang a sign on it that says sorry for the convenience".
