Hello all

Hi, I'm Ross

This is my first time posting on the site. I heard about aikiweb from a couple of guys I'm practising with, and it seemed like a good idea to join in too.

I'm currently practising in Kobe, but come from the U.K, where I began doing aikido.

I came to Japan with the intention of learnning more about aiki and was lucky enough to be placed in Kobe, where there is an excellent dojo called Seibukan, with superb teachers, and a friendly bunch of aikidoka.

I'm going to go and have a look at some of the discussions on the site now.

Cheers

Re: Hello all

Hi Ross,

Welcome to Aikiweb from Nashville, TN!

Harmony does not mean that there are no conflicts,
for the dynamic spiral of existence embraces both extremes.

Re: Hello all

Thanks for the welcome!
It's not as hectic as I thought it would be Lucy, but hectic enough. I'm making friends, and my fair share of cultural mistakes, but people have been generally very helpful. I'm definately thinking it was worth the trip.

Cheers
