Re: Highrankingwomen

My suggestion is the title. Why did you make one non-word out of High Ranking Women ?

Re: Highrankingwomen

Janet,

I believe whenever someone makes a change or addition on the AikiWiki the system automatically generates a discussion thread.

Just my impression. Maybe Jun could clear things up. I've seen this happen a few times over the past several months.

Re: Highrankingwomen

Anne Marie, I understand that but it has nothing to do with my question, which is wondering why the creator of the wiki posting chose to title it a nonsense run-on non-word rather than an intelligable, searchable 3 word title.

Re: Highrankingwomen

It's fixed.

I don't think anything was meant be it. The last time I inputed something into the Wiki it did the same thing with the title and I had to search around haphazardly for a while until I figured out how to change it (all the instructions display in Japanese on my machine, which I can't read).

Re: Highrankingwomen

Janet,

My point was that the wiki automatically generates it. I'm with Bronson here. Nothing was meant by it.

Every thing is a feature, if you sell it right...

What is the bug to which you refer?

Thanks,

Re: Highrankingwomen

Hey, nobody is talking about high ranking women in here!!!

This thread should be called "Aikiweb Bug" or "Aikiweb Feature" or something.

sorry, I guess that wasn't really very helpful.

Re: Highrankingwomen

I believe the bug is the runonsinglewordthreadtitle that the wiki generates.

Re: Highrankingwomen

Yep. I thought the person who started that wiki had chosen to title it oddly but apparently it is in the program somewhere.

Re: Highrankingwomen

Hi Janet,

The "HighRankingWomen" title was one that I personally chose -- in other words, it was not a bug in the program. I chose to do this to subscribe to the Camel Case convention of naming Wiki entries.

Hope that helps,

-- Jun

Re: Highrankingwomen

Oh. Ok. Didn't know about that. The only wiki I look at w/ any regularity is either English or Spanish wikipedia which are nice enough to write the way humans do :-)
