Looking for dojo: Doncaster, UK

Hi,
My very good friend want to return to aikido training after few years of break. He is black belt and lives presently in Doncaster, ,South Yorkshire, UK. He has no car, and finish his work about 19.00.
In dojo search I was able to find only one dojo of Ki Aikido. If someone can help to find more dojo it'd be really great.

Sheffield is the closest location with choice of dojo, but he will have a problem to travel without a car.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Re: Looking for dojo: Doncaster, UK

I can't help with dojos in Doncaster I'm afraid.

There is an excellent Shodokan teacher in Sheffield (he's my teacher). We train in the centre of Sheffield. You're right, it would be difficult without a car, but your friend might be able to get to our Tuesday evening classes, which don't start until 8pm.

Is your friend looking for a specific style?

Doncaster to Grimsby 40+miles depending on where the student lives in Doncaster.

Aikikai affiliated dojo through the United Kingdom Aikikai

www.eastcoastaikikai.co.uk

All students welcome any time although they must carry appropriate insurance to practice. Next Seminar in November 18/19th November with Keith Hayward 6th dan so Hombu.

I think he will be happy simply to practice aikido.

Thank you Sean and David, I'll follow him your suggestions.

There is a dojo at Sheffield Hallam University on Collegiate Crescent in Sheffield. Phone up and try to find out if there are any commuting students from that area.
