Aikido Yuishinkai UK Joint Course, March 4th 2005

Posted 2006-02-22 07:41:57 by Annie Willens
News URL: http://www.andoveraikido.co.uk

The course brings togther Aikido students from all over the country - all Aikido students are welcome on Saturday, March 4th at Castledown Sport and Community Centre, Ludgershall, Near Andover 11am -6pm. Course teachers are Geoff Flather Sensei 7th Dan, Denis Burke Sensei 7th Dan, Piers Cooke Sensei 6th Dan, Graig Bridges Sensei 5th Dan, Quentin Cooke Sensei 5th Dan.

Yuishinkai Aikido is 'Aikido without Boundaries'. In the words of Maruyama Sensei 'Every river has a name. However, these names disappear when they flow into the great ocean. It is my vision and hope that, like many rivers, Aikido styles and names, like the rivers, they flow together and unite as one.'

The teachers are donating their time so all proceeds from this course will go towards bringing Maruyama Sensei over to the UK for Summer School this August 2006. It will be a good day and night! £5 per session or £25 for the day.

For more information contact Sensei Quentin Cooke 01638 741678/615343 or q.cooke@ntlworld.com
