Obsession, healthy or unhealthy?

Hi all. I've been training aikido for a few years now. Lately I've been feeling incredibly driven to train, where it's almost all I can think about and the main thing I look forward to every day. I'm also feeling incredibly devoted to my teachers, thinking about them constantly and feeling something akin to love for the male sensei, that hasn't really dissipated as I thought it might. I'm not abandoning any life responsibilities but I find it incredibly preoccupying and may be harming my current relationship.

Am I crazy? Has anyone else had this experience? Am I just confusing the devotion of a teacher for something else? Am I using aikido as an escape from daily struggles? I know you won't know the answers for me, but I'd love to hear anyone else's experiences.

Thank you!
Arkadion
