Albo Kali/Silat Women's Self Defense Seminar by Jon Holloway

Jon Holloway, Tuhan for the Albo Kali/Silat system will be conducting a Women's Self Defense Seminar on February 23, 2008 (Saturday) from 9:00 AM through 2:00 PM. The cost is $40.00, payable to USAMATC (U.S.A. Martial Arts Training Center ).

The seminar will cover a lot of interesting topics and will be suitable to expand the skill level of those who took the previous seminar (last year) and will also be a good basic seminar for those who missed the first one.

The seminar will be held at the USAMATC, 543 E. Main Street, Bridgeport, WV 26330. Things to bring: pen/pencil and paper for note taking, bottled water, workout gear (t-shirt and sweatpants are recommended), car or house keys, a sturdy purse you do not mind working out with, and, (if you have one) a Surefire or other small personal flashlight (we will do some limited work with improvised weapons and keys, the purse and the flashlight can all be used in this capacity).

PM or email me, Mark Murray (markmurray@ma.rr.com), for additional details if you are interested. Payment by check is preferred. Registration closes 02/15/2008 and is on a first come, first serve basis. The seminar is limited to 20 students. The last seminar filled up quickly.

For more information on Jon Holloway and the West Virginia branch of Albo Kali/Silat, please visit:

If you have any questions, let me know.

Thanks,
Mark
