YouTube: Aikido - Street Story (Czech Short Movie)

Here's a short aikido video called "Aikido - Street Story (Czech Short Movie)."

What are your thoughts on this video?

That was fun to watch.....and I suspect a lot of us would imagine ourselves being that successful too - at least the first part. Those guys had great ukemi skills! What a shame that real life isn't quite like that most of the time.

Good ol' violence porn. The vignette at the end shows they have a sense of humor about it. I enjoyed it.

Seriously. My first thought, too....

I'd pick her up, absolutely! Then throw her over my shoulder and dump her right in front of sensei and say "fix this." A couple weeks of sweeping the mat should teach her how to at least run the fuck away if she isn't gonna help herself....

Let's see the movie that has her showing some skills. Here's exactly how little it takes for a motivated woman to stop a fight. A line from The Longest Yard immediately leaps to mind.

The video shows the weakness in going to the ground if other people ara around.

I like the video...I would have liked it better if the women was the hero. She could have done something.
