I have created an online community to support Aikido youth programs at http://www.aikidokids.com.
The purpose of the community is to be a place where instructors and students can both share their collective experience in teaching aikido to kids. Another purpose of the website is to facilitate regional kid-centric overnight, weekend, or week-long seminars where our students would have the chance to train with their peers from other dojos.

The site features an online forum where users can of course create their own topics.

Yours sincerely,

Robert Kent,

Thumbs down

Thank you very much for this site.

Sometimes, I perform the children training.
I think it is very different from the adult one especially for 7->10 years old where the concentration is difficult to maintain. Games can be a good approach for learning them the basics.

I search also advices on the technics well adapted for children and the other ones which should be avoid with young children.

I hope that this site will grow rapidly with interesting advices from senior.
