Great news! Pat is a legend in Iwama Aikido and she reminds me of lots of memories when she was following Morihiro Saito Sensei. She has a tremendous amount of energy and she is very interesting to watch her demonstrating Aikido and also when she used to be Uke under Saito!

While true (the spelling bit) Pat sensei is not quite a grandmother (nor grandma) just yet! While you may call out grandmaster Pat sensei never would claim such a 'title'. First thing after hearing the news was back on the mat and train some more. Always training that one is.
