Introduction

Hello everyone

Just today I recieved a notification in my mail box that my account here's been activated. So I thought it best to pop in here to make a formal introduction before posting in any other threads.

My name is Christian, and just yesterday, I turned 30.

I joined the "Reishin Dojo Aikido Aikikai" in Odense, Denmark some four months ago, and have no martial experience prior to that. The past three months have changed my view on a great many things including aikido, which i began mostly to get a different workout. The many interesting (and compared to so many other forums i've been part of, surprisingly eloquent) articles in this forum have made me understand there is infinitely more to aikido than what goes on on the mat, and that this could very well become a lifelong relationsship. I look forward to that.

Resihin Dojo was founded in may 2002 by Sensei Victor Merea and currently counts just under 30 aikidoka (including some 10 juniors).
We're located in a slightly dodgy building in Odense, but our web site is really nifty: Go check it out at http://www.reishindojo.dk.

Looking forward to everything,
Chris

Hi Christian,

welcome to aikiweb. Although sometimes the posts get a little long, I've found many things to reflect on from the discussions here!
