Daito-ryu Aikijujutsu Kondo Seminar

I am happy and honored to announce that I will be hosting the 2006 Daito-ryu Aikijujutsu Mainline Tradition Seminar. This event will be taught by Katsuyuki Kondo, Menkyo Kaiden (by Tokimune Takeda).

It will be in October 2006 in the New York City metropolitan area.

If you are interested in attending this 3 day event please contact me at: daitoryu2000@aol.com for information. I will then forward all of the information to your email in 4 separate adobe.pdf files.

Many Aikido, Hakko-ryu and Hapkido practitioners have attended in the past and have found it very interesting to study their root art. They have found that by understanding the past, they can better understand their current art.

I myself first started with Aikido, then went on to study Hakko-ryu knowing that each of the 2 arts took separate elements from Daito-ryu. But I still did not completely "get it" until I was able to study Daito-ryu.

Thank-you, Yours in Budo
Jose Garrido

Smile Re: Daito-ryu Aikijujutsu Kondo Seminar

I have further information on the seminar...

Katsuyuki Kondo sensei (Menkyo Kaiden) will be accompanied by Sumie Hasegawa sensei (one of his longest term students). Derek and Toma will also be there as the translators. The Sheraton has given a special price break to all seminar participants and all of the rooms are actually 2 room suites.

The early registration is about to expire, so anyone interested is encouraged to sign up quickly before the end of JULY.

In AUGUST the regular registration rate will go into effect.

If you are interested contact Jose Garrido at
Daitoryu2000@aol.com

Yours in Budo,
Jose Garrido
