Re: To sutemi, or not to sutemi

Well I'm giving here a different perspective. I frequently visit judo class... in the end when sparring and tired I often fake sutemiwaza throws to get myself on my back so I can exetecute a open guard sweep or some submission from my back But I'm mainly a BJJ guy right now and in an MMA or SD context I wouldn't DO them, however feel that practicing them is useful and fun
